Project: Saints LGBT+
As a Subcommittee of the Students’ Organisation at the University of St Andrews, Saints LGBT+ provides a community space for queer students. My work there has connected the visual narratives across their brands and events.

Branding For Saints LGBT+
A more inclusive vision
Saints LGBT+ is an inclusive student run queer community organisation for the students of the University of St Andrews in St Andrews, Scotland, UK. The branding prior to joining their team as an outdated mid-2010’s design that reflected a singular gay flag identity. After joining the team, I set out to redesign and redefine how they portrayed queer identity by using rainbows melted together.
Many Identities: one Brand
Using the new logo, I created a suite of logos reflecting 9 different queer identities represented in our student body. Three are shown above. These were printed onto stickers and distributed, enabling students to celebrate their identity alongside our community brand.
Sub Brands
Across the brand, various subcommittees of the organisation had to rebrand and align their visuals within the Saints LGBT+ umbrella. Below are a few of the marketing materials created for each of these.

An Inclusive vision for journalism
Articles
Created as a satire of the University’s student newspaper The Saint, Saints LGBT+ created a new monthly print circulated zine called The Gay Saint. The Gay Saint provides inclusive coverage of queer issues and art across Scotland. To read more and see the cover designs I’ve created, please clink to read more.
