Project: St Andrews Pride

In late 2018, I was tasked with designing the logo for the 2019 St Andrews Pride Parade. Located in Scotland, the logo needed to reflect its university roots, color, and meet the SEO need for “pride” as the first word when locals searched for pride events.

I created three graphic directions, for which the committee chose to pursue the upper center. This was then iterated into the final logo shown last on the upper right.

Building the Identity

I was given this project as the Communications officer at the University of St Andrews Students’ Union subcommittee: Saints LGBT. The event was one of the largest to date.
